Equip

equipping people with necessary tools for growing as disciples of Jesus

Equip is one of New Life's discipleship programs. These men’s and women’s groups consist of 4-6 people reading and discussing short books as part of a coordinated course of study.

The groups are designed to be places of sharing, encouragement, closeness, and accountability and for equipping people with necessary tools for growing as disciples of Jesus. Equip is structured around four main focuses:

  • Grounded in the gospel

  • Built up in the Bible

  • Connected to the church

  • Witnessing in the world

This fall, groups will be reading and discussing The Grumbler’s Guide to Giving Thanks: Reclaiming the Gifts of a Lost Spiritual Discipline by Dustin Crowe. This study provides an excellent opportunity to grow in our understanding of what the Bible says about thanksgiving, to cultivate its practice in our lives, and to be an encouragement to each other.

How To Get Involved

Equip is strategically sequenced over several years, which allows for a high degree of flexibility if participants wish to participate only in some of the book studies over the course of the program. Equip is open to anyone beyond high school. New groups meet each fall and spring.
