Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team exists to serve others behind the scenes so that events and front-line deeds can function smoothly and efficiently. They provide genuine hospitality as they serve the saints of New Life with a warm, friendly, welcoming, and Christlike spirit, as described in Matthew 25:35: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen

  • Manage the coffee ministry

  • Furnish the coffee, cookies, and juice for Discipleship Hour

  • Furnish the kitchen with supplies for routine and special events

  • Purchase items for and manages Fellowship meals

  • Host’s presbytery

  • Host the annual Easter breakfast

  • Conduct annual kitchen cleaning and organizing

  • Host or assist with special events as needed

  • Serve condolence meals as needed

Coffee Team

The Coffee Team is managed by the Hospitality team, but serving on one does not mean you are serving on both—unless you want! The Coffee Team is made up of volunteers who serve on Sunday mornings during discipleship hour to prepare and serve coffee, cookies and juice.

How To Get Involved

Do you have the gift of hospitality? Does working behind the scenes for special events (from the kitchen) excite you? If so, the hospitality team would love to have you! They are always looking for some additional people, helping hands, and fresh thoughts and ideas for the team. There is always much laughter and fun as they serve together.
